PHOTOSWITCH SCHOOL 2014

Welcome

The PHOTOSWITCH School will hold in Dourdan from the 7th to the 10th of december 2014 (France) at the initiative of two CNRS actions, the GdR "Magnétisme et Commutation Moléculaires" (MCM2, J.-F. Létard) and the GdRI "Photocommutation of Switchable Organic Molecular Systems and Devices" (PHENICS, K. Nakatani).

This school is supported by the Japanese Research Group, Photosynergetics.

The Photoswitch shool is dedicated to Molecular Engineering and Investigation of Photoswitchable Systems. It will cover photo-induced processes from liquid to solid states, with different technics and methods, on systems involved in chemistry, physics, biology, devices...

This school will Participate to the launch of the 2015 International Year of Light and Light-Based Technologies claimed by the United Nations.

The school is planned just before the meeting of the french community on Molecular magnetism and switching (10-12 december 2014)
